Curriculum
The course consists of a series of training in different specialised areas of sub-contracting. Participants may elect to enrol in any one or all of the series of 7 different topics as shown below :
Module 1. Construction Planning
Module 2 . Financial Control
Module 3 . Human Resources Management
Module 4. Introduction to ISO9000 Quality Management System
Module 5 . Construction Progress and Cost Control
Module 6 . Safety Supervision in Construction Works
Module 7. Employment Ordinance
Recognition
This programme meets
(i) the requirement of completion of the “Project Management Training Series” for the application for registration and renewal of Register of Sub-contractors; and
(ii) CPD requirement of management staff for registration renewal,
under “Registered Specialist Trade Contractors Scheme”.

Conditions of Certificate Award
(i) A Certificate of Completion will be issued to students with full attendance (i.e. attended 21 hours for the whole course)
(ii) A CPD Certificate will be issued for each completed module

Student who completed any Module(s) of this programme or “Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Courses for Registered Specialist Trade Contractors” (MPMS) and meet the following condition will be granted a maximum of 21-hour of exemption for Certificate in Construction Specialist Trades Management (CPMS):
‧ Students who completed any Module(s) of this programme after 1 February 2016 can apply for exemption from the related Module(s).
‧ Students who completed any Module(s) of “Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Courses for Registered Specialist Trade Contractors” (MPMS) within 3 years before joining CPMS can apply for exemption from the related Module(s).
Student who completed any Module(s) of this programme or “Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Courses for Registered Specialist Trade Contractors” (MPMS) and meet the following condition will be granted a maximum of 21-hour of exemption for Certificate in Construction Specialist Trades Management (CPMS):
‧ Students who completed any Module(s) of this programme after 1 February 2016 can apply for exemption from the related Module(s).
‧ Students who completed any Module(s) of “Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Courses for Registered Specialist Trade Contractors” (MPMS) within 3 years before joining CPMS can apply for exemption from the related Module(s).
