The Employers Appreciation Ceremony is an annual event organised by HKIC to acknowledge employers’ contributions in nurturing talents, as well as to promote positive culture and share training experiences within the industry. HKIC presents awards to various stakeholders who actively contribute to talents training for the construction industry. These include main contractors, subcontractors, employers participating in Approved Technical Talents Training Programmes, Collaboration Scheme, Urban Forestry Support Fund - Trainee Programme, multi-cultural talents, as well as outstanding trainers. Over the years, more than 200 employers have merited awards, and the number of awards has increased from 32 to 53 in 2023, which the construction industry has given tremendous support and recognition to the training initiatives provided by HKIC.
