Eligibility of Nominees

• Nominee must fulfil the following requirements:
  1. Under Construction Industry Council Approved Technical Talents Training Programmes (ATP) or Vocational Training Council (VTC) Apprenticeship Scheme as of 31 December 2022; or
  2. Undergoing / have completed Intermediate Tradesman Collaborative Training Scheme (ITCTS) or Advanced Construction Manpower Training Scheme (ACMTS), and have completed the related test (if any); and
• In the service of a job relevant to his/her training in construction industry.

Nominator

• Nominee's current employer (or on a company basis)

Judging Criteria

• Good job ethics and proactive personality
• Passion and pride in pursuing a career in construction
• Construction related professional skills and knowledge
• Engagement to community service and the construction industry

Selection Procedures

• HKIC will conduct preliminary screening and the short-listed candidates will be invited to panel interview.

Announcement of Result and Awards

• Result will be announced in June 2023. Awardee, nominator and site trainer will be invited to attend the Award Presentation Ceremony

Awards

• Each awardee will receive a trophy and a certificate
• A trophy to the nominator and main site trainer of awardee

• Please submit the nomination form on or before 30 April 2023 and submit it to alumni@hkic.edu.hk or mail to “38/F, COS Centre, 56 Tsun Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong (Attn: COS-Chloe Koo)” with remark of “Construction Industry Outstanding Apprentice Award 2023” on the envelope submission deadline.
