Principals' Forum on “Innovative Dialogue Between STEAM Education and the Construction Industry” was successfully held on 25 March 2025. It was co-organised by "STEAM UP " and the Hong Kong Institute of Construction (HKIC) STEAM Alliance. More than 60 guests from the education sector and the construction industry, including representatives from the Development Bureau and the Planning Department, secondary school principals, teachers in charge of STEAM subjects/career planning, and construction professionals, attended the conference. The guests had in-depth exchanges and sharing on how to integrate innovative technologies into STEAM education and actively explored the practical ways of integrating STEAM education with the construction industry and the direction of future development, which provided valuable advice on how to promote innovation and co-operation in the related fields.

HKIC will continually organise different activities and look forward to collaborating with various communities to promote the development of STEAM education and the construction industry, so as to nurture more construction professionals for Hong Kong.
